Book Blessing

Today our Central Lyon 2nd graders, along with every other 2nd grader in the state of Iowa, were blessed with a brand new hardcover book, titled "Just Like Caitlin." This book is a beautiful reflection of the life and legacy that Caitlin Clark is leaving for all generations as an athlete and more importantly an inspiring role model. This generous donation was made by Dickson and Luann Jensen. Our students were very excited and grateful to receive this gift and also listen to a personal video from the author, Ally Obermeier. What a thoughtful act of kindness and planning to share this special book on World Kindness Day. May we all be inspired to live life generously and keep dreaming big, just like the Jensens and just like Caitlin!
