Hello everyone!  My name is Mrs. Boekhout and I have been teaching at Central Lyon since 1995.  I taught 1st grade for 4 years, Kindergarten for 16 years, and this is my 10th year of teaching 2nd grade.  I truly love my career and the children I am blessed with each year.  Most students are very eager to learn and please, which makes it so enjoyable to teach them.  I want families to know that their child is valued, encouraged, and loved in my classroom.  I want the children to feel that our learning environment is positive, happy, and safe.
