New Library Associate
The library has gained a new associate and her name is Denise Lupkes! In addition to the library duties, she also happily helps with the pep, book, and chess clubs that the high school offers during FLEX. Below are some facts to get to know Mrs. Lupkes even better!
1.) How are you fitting into the school? - I feel like the library is a good place for me since I love to read, and it helps me read books out of my comfort zone.
2.) Do you have a favorite book? - My favorite books are 'Where the Crawdads Sing' and 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.
3.) What are your favorite type of books? - My favorite types of books are thrillers and mystery.
4.) What's it like working at Central Lyon? - I like the kids and I love to read so being around endless books is great.
5.) Will you continue book club and chess club? -Yes. We also do the Pep club.
6.) Why did you decide to come work at this school? - I wanted something different then what I had been doing for the last 20 some years.
Our clubs are full of a bunch of members that are all adjusting well to the new library assistant!
