2nd Grade Open House
Tonight was the start of the 2024-2025 school year, which represents another year of new beginnings for our 2nd grade team, one of which includes the return of retired 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Snyders, as she plans to be the substitute teacher during Mrs. Halma's maternity leave. We are so excited to have her back on our team.
I had the privilege of meeting 19 of my 20 new students and their families at our Second Grade Open House. The children enjoyed unpacking their supplies, checking out our room, and meeting some classmates. This year is off to a great start already! **fun fact...this year I have 2 students whose mom or dad I also taught in 1st grade! They both came along tonight so of course we had to do a generational picture and take a trip down memory lane in my scrapbook.
