My Class is Full of Sweet Hearts
Today was an extra special day filled with love as we celebrated Valentine's Day here in 2nd grade. My class enjoyed working on a valentines packet filled with crossword puzzles, mazes, word searches, and I Spies this week for Valentine's Day. Some students were surprised with singing valentines, candy, and/or flowers from their parents throughout the day. We also found some time to take silly photos with our valentine props. This afternoon we were treated to a super sweet party where everyone rotated through snack, game, and craft stations. At one station, we found a quiet spot to open and read our valentine cards from each other. Thanks to Alyssa K., Amanda H., Taylor S., Miss Georgie, and Miss DeSmet for helping us create wonderful, heart-filled memories today. I am truly blessed with a class full of sweet hearts!
