The sensory room.

We are fortunate at Central Lyon to have a sensory room.  Students often struggle with processing sensory information, which can impact their learning.  Often times a sensory break will benefit any student.  Our sensory room has a swing, exercise balls, a pea pod, and several other items to assist in sensory processing.  The AEA Occupational Therapist assists the special education teachers in managing the sensory room.
