Psychology
Psychology covers all aspects of behavior, thought processes, and relating to one another. Psychology is valuable because it makes students think, feel, react, learn, remember, perceive, and develop as human beings. Most importantly, it helps them to understand themselves. In order for students to be successful in life they must understand who they are and how they got that way.
This class is taught as a college prep course. Everything we do in psychology is designed to prepare students for the next level of education. It is primarily lecture based (because that’s what they'll find in college) and tests are given over two chapters at a time. Most of the material will be new to them and some of it is difficult, so they are encouraged to look over their notes each day and expected to read each chapter, otherwise they may be overwhelmed come test time.
Below you will find links to the psychology syllabus, calendars of daily activities, and other important documents.
