My name is Mrs. Van Aartsen. I started teaching at Central Lyon in 2018.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2016 and my K-8 Reading Endorsement in 2018.  I am married to Scott. My husband and I have five children. Ben is employed at New Century Press. Our twins, Anna and Grant, are seniors. Jacob is in 7th grade. Sarah is in 5th grade.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and going for walks.

This year, I will be teaching Kindergarten after teaching TK for four years.  I am excited to be at Central Lyon and look forward to a great school year.
