Hello, my name is Jason Engleman and I am the 7-12 Principal at Central Lyon.  Prior to my role as a building principal, I served the district in other capacities including activities director, coach, and third-grade teacher. My education includes graduating from Morningside College, in Sioux City, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education followed by a Masters Degree in School Administration from Dordt College, in Sioux Center, and a Specialist Degree from the University of South Dakota. My family includes my wife Kayla and I, and our six children, Ellie, Mattie, Taysom, Quinnlie, Thaddeus, and Theo.

Outside of my administrative responsibilities I love to stay active through exercise and other sporting activities. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends while playing games, watching movies, and going on walks or bike rides.  My family and I also like to spend time attending and supporting Central Lyon's many activities.

I have been fortunate to have the privilege of starting and continuing my career at Central Lyon, we truly have the best community to work in and the best kids and staff to work with.
