My name is Deborah Snyders and I have been teaching at Central Lyon since 1986.  I grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa and graduated from Ventura High School.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.  Go Norse!  I am very excited to begin my 37th year of teaching.  I enjoy working with the Central Lyon students and staff.  The kids are always very eager to learn and are a lot of fun!

I am married to Joe Snyders. We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary this summer. We have two children, Meredith and Austin.  Meredith is a Logistics and Acquisitions specialist for the Department of Defense.  She is recently married and lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband, Luke.  Austin is in a Fast Track Pilot program and is working on his pilot ratings. I enjoy traveling with my family, reading, and taking long walks.  This summer, we took a seven day cruise to Alaska.

We are going to have an AWESOME year!  I hope you are as excited as I am, and I can't wait to learn more about each of you!
