Laugh, Love and Learn
Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Meyer and I have been teaching 3rd grade for 3 years. Previous to teaching 3rd grade, I taught 4 years of Transitional Kindergarten. I have a passion for working with the younger children as they have such an energy for learning! I strive to have a loving and nurturing, yet structured, environment for the children. I provide students with a variety of learning experiences. From hands-on activities to working at centers to whole group discussions, each day the students have opportunities to build confidence and let their personalities shine!!
Besides my love of working with children is my love for my family! I am married to Sid and we live just outside of Rock Rapids on a farm. We raise cow-calf pairs, feed cattle and hogs, and raise crops. We have four children that keep us busy with their school, 4-H, and church activities! Jarrett and Kalen are both graduated. Louise is a Junior and Morgan is a sophmore.
