February’s senior student of the month reveals his sense of humor through his writing and to those closest to him. You might see him in the halls at school during after-hours as he helps out the custodial staff as his part-time job. This well-rounded student has been involved in a variety of activities at Central Lyon including band, jazz band, large group speech, theater, track, and quiz bowl. He's even performed on the dance floor adding some flair to the girls' dance team. His favorite class is independent art study, and during his free time he likes to long-board, listen to music, draw, or paint with watercolors. His favorite book is Of Mice and Men, TV show Modern Family, and his favorite movie is Mrs. Doubtfire. The accomplishment that makes him most proud is making it into jazz band as a trumpet player.

According to art teacher Mr. Towne, Conner has a strong artistic intellect with a keen eye for detail and techinque. He has mastered his craft in drawing and does exceptional work on very complex works. The future is bright for this senior as he heads off to further perfect his skills at the Art Institution of his choosing following high school. Look for him to be heading up a design studio for your future favorite show or game franchise!
