Middle School Choir
6th Grade General Music/Choir
6th Grade general music meets on a 3 day cycle. They continue to build on the basics of what they learned in grades K-5 and further their learning by studying music history, melody, rhythm, and harmony as well as put that knowledge to use playing recorders, guitars, boomwhackers and Orff instruments.
The entire grade prepares music to perform at 2 concerts during the year and may opt to try out for swing choir which performs in March and may also opt to join the 7th and 8th choir for their spring concert in May.
